About Us

Thendara is a very successful kennel proudly owned by Jeremy Bott & Dee Milligan-Bott .  Accolades won by ‘Thendara’ include Top Breeders, Top Dog, Top Stud Dog, Top Sire, &Top Puppy.  Success in the show ring has been achieved at the highest championship level to include Best in Show awards, Gundog Group Winners and at CRUFTS, we boast to having won the Challenge Certificate 7 times with five different dogs and Best of Breed at Crufts 5 times with four generations of male Irish Setters

The Kennel name Thendara is synonymous with Irish Setters all over the World.

We are both Championship Show Judges passed by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates to Irish Setters.
Jeremy judged Irish Setter Dogs at Crufts 2008.
Dee also enjoys judging Afghan Hounds and is currently on the ‘B’ list for this breed.

Although the show ring has given our stock so many wonderful days and enjoyable memories, and the excitement of trying to repeat success with the next generation of youngsters;  it is at home with our dogs that bring the most joy. All of our dogs live happily together in house, no kennels & runs here, each and every one is different and has different needs, from the most beautiful Afghan who hates showing,  to the old ones, all of them give their love and devotion and each and everyone is so special and makes this family complete.
